The Good Old Days!

What ever happened to the good old days? Days before Vexilars, electric augers, body heaters, Tungsten ice jigs, and the list goes on and on. Even without all of the latest and greatest gadgets, we all seemed to still catch fish. Maybe our memories let us believe it was better than it really was but who cares. As long as we had a good time, does it really matter?

K&E Tackle has one of the largest, if not the largest, selections of ice jigs in the country. And yes, they do include a great line of Skandia Tungsten ice jigs. However, before the evolution of the tungsten ice jig there was lead.

One of the best lead ice jigs ever made is the Moon jig. The Moon jig has been around for decades and has probably filled more pans with panfish than any other ice jig on the market. The Moon jig comes in several styles, colors, and glow combinations.

Besides the original Moon jig, the Dot Rocker is another favorite across the Midwest. Along with the Moon and Dot ice jig, there is also Moxy and Fairy jigs made by Arnold. The Arnold jigs are the jigs with the little flippers on them. They come in both a Moxy and Fairy jig body style.

So next time you’re going to pick up a few ice jigs, don’t forget about the good old days. The new stuff is great but the old stuff is pretty darn good too!
